Azmi & Associates proudly presents our first-born Annual Report 2008 (“Annual”). The Annual is meant to provide sufficient information to our clients on the overall performance of our firm throughout year 2008. It will act as a medium to appreciate and share our fruitful experiences while representing our clients either locally or internationally.

With a mission to accomplish a major task, the team responsible for the Annual began its journey in January 2009 in line with Azmi & Associates’ culture of working in a team. All members of the firm cooperated and participated actively to ensure that the Annual becomes a reality.

This Annual provides the overview of our values, international ties, our practice groups, some of our notable assignments from our esteemed clients, accolades etc. Besides handling assignments, it is our philosophy to encourage new ideas for the benefit of our clients, staff and the wider society. Based on this philosophy, series of seminars and workshops were organized, and strategic liaisons with law schools were initiated to mould young talents. Amongst the seminars and workshops organized in 2008 are workshop on Venture Capital in Singapore, workshop on Alternative Investment Market/Secondary Listing in UK, Master Class Corporate Law Workshop on the Legal Aspects of Joint Ventures, Mergers & Acquisitions, & Privatization and many more.

2008 is a memorable year for the firm. In spite of the current economic situation, we welcome 2009 and beyond to continue to strive and attain greater heights in the provision of legal services and enhancing client satisfaction.
