Welcoming Suhaimi Lazim into A&A's International Law Division

Suhaimi LazimAzmi & Associates via its International Law Division has appointed Suhaimi Lazim as the Firm’s advisor (Singapore Laws and Practice Development).

Suhaimi graduated from the National University of Singapore and has practised with major international law firms in Singapore and Australia. He has significant experience in banking and commercial dispute resolution.

As an Advocate and Solicitor admitted to the Singapore Bar, he has appeared in many complex litigation matters in the Singapore Supreme Court as well as international arbitration under the auspices of the International Chamber of Commerce. Suhaimi has also worked on many major insolvency matters and corporate restructuring of listed companies advising insolvency practitioners from major accounting firms, financial institutions and the management of insolvent companies. He also advises on regulatory compliance in banking and finance, telecommunications and media as well as competition.

Suhaimi will be sharing his experience and expertise in seminars and workshops conducted by Azmi & Associates for the benefit of legal practitioners as well as the general public.

Suhaimi’s primary role will be to further enhance Azmi & Associates’ capabilities in assisting Singaporeans and Asian investors with projects in Southeast Asia, especially in Malaysia. His entry into the International Law Division of Azmi & Associates will strengthen the firm’s global reach while maintaining a local perspective in understanding clients’ needs.
